Recently, Cree LED announced the launch of three new LED products, all using SMD package structure, and optimized for large-screen high-resolution screen applications, enhancing the picture quality and reliability of various large-size displays.LED new products are mainly used in sports stadium signs, airport displays, command center displays and full-color road signs.

The first new product is the CV94A-FGC, the latest addition to the CV94 LED family, which features an RGB three-in-one structure with a 90°/45° elliptical beam Angle. It is reported that the CV94 LED SMD series can replace in-line leds for outdoor, large pixel pitch display scenes, such as road signs and LED billboards. Compared to in-line leds, the SMD package structure can reduce the complexity and cost of assembling displays for manufacturers, while improving image quality.

The two new models, the CLMWB-FKC and CV94A-FGC, both feature IPx8 water resistance and UV protection, increasing the reliability of the display in extreme weather conditions.

The last is the UHD111A-FKA, also an SMD package structure RGB three-color LED with a size of only 1.0 x 1.0 mm, high brightness and high reliability, optimized for high-resolution indoor LED displays used in airports, shopping malls and command centers. Unlike other LED products in this type, the UHD111A-FKA does not require wire bonding, so black levels and contrast are significantly improved.

Cree LED said that the new RGB LED launched this time can provide higher resolution and higher picture quality for most large screen display applications, but also save application costs.
