The infrared matrix hardware in the X and Y directions is closely placed in front of the screen to detect and locate the user's touch by constantly scanning whether there is infrared ray blocked by objects. Specifically, the circuit board and special LED tubes are designed in the metal frame, and the four sides of the screen form a cross infrared matrix one by one, and then coordinate positioning is achieved through software and algorithms.
Every time the hardware scans, if all infrared tubes are accessible and the green light is on, it means that everything is normal and there is no touch.
When there is a touch, fingers or other objects will block the horizontal and vertical infrared rays passing through the position. When the touch screen scans and finds and confirms that one infrared ray is blocked, the red light is on, indicating that there is infrared ray blocked, and there may be a touch. At the same time, immediately change to another coordinate and scan again. If another infrared ray is also blocked on the other axis, the yellow light is on, indicating that a touch is found, and report the location of the two infrared tubes that are found to be blocked to the host, The position of the touch point on the screen is determined through calculation.
